For business buyers
A wellness floor for the hotel, club or tower, sized from bathers per hour and written for the consultant
A commercial buyer needs three things from the first reply: the loads, the duty and the document set. We give the loads in kW and kN, size the plant for 16 hours of daily duty at a 45 °C ambient, and issue the drawings, datasheets and CAD blocks that let your consultant coordinate before a tender.

Sizing from the peak hour: a method
Take the people who could use the area in the busiest hour, apply the share who will, divide by session length, and compare with what the cabin and the basin turn over. A 6-seat cabin on fifteen-minute sessions, with a few minutes for the dip and the changeover, turns about three times an hour and serves roughly eighteen bathers. A collective pool of about 3.5 x 1.8 m, priced from its drawing, takes three or four at a time for a dip of two to three minutes, so it is rarely the constraint; the cabin sets the pace. When your peak is larger, add cabin seats first and a basin second. Your operator's data replaces our illustrative shares, and the plant is sized from the result.
What 16 hours of duty means on the drawing
- A chiller sized for continuous duty at 45 °C, with pull-down done overnight.
- Filtration and UV sized to bathers per hour, and a make-up point reachable from outside the wet area.
- 316 stainless on rails and fixings, sealed stone and epoxy grout in the pools.
- A call point at each pool and cabin, a towel niche and a closing checklist.
What the sourced numbers say about the market, and what they do not
Hotelivate's 2025 report counts about 196,000 branded hotel rooms in India in 2024/25, with more than 114,000 in the pipeline in March 2025, and lists wellness tourism among the trends to watch. The Global Wellness Institute puts India's wellness real estate at about US$20.5 billion in 2025, growing roughly 26% a year since 2019 (its press release of 12 May 2026). Playtomic and Strategy& name Mumbai as a padel hotspot, with an estimated 50 to 60 courts in 2024 (Global Padel Report 2025). These figures describe a market that is building amenities. They do not say what a cold plunge pool earns in a given property, and we do not claim a return; the business case is built from your own rate card and your operator's data, with our capex and kW as the other half.
What is the typical investment for a commercial wellness floor?
Three kits at standard pool sizes set the scale, excluding GST: a clinic floor, a 4-seat glass cabin and a square plunge pool, ₹20.1-32.3 lakh; a club corner, a 6-seat cabin and two round cold pools, ₹32.2-52 lakh; and a hotel spa floor, an 8-seat cabin and a hot and cold suite, ₹37.9-61 lakh. A collective pool above standard size replaces the standard pool in a kit and is priced from its drawing.
Can you work with an operator's brand standards?
Send the brief and we return a compliance sheet that shows, line by line, what the equipment meets and what the operator or the consultant must decide.
Do you respond to a tender specification?
We prepare a written technical bid. Whether a given tender can be answered depends on its eligibility rules; payment is 40 / 40 / 20 unless the tender sets other terms.
